Location options allow us to customize your treatment plan to fit your schedule and daily routine. Therapy at home or virtually also allows for more family participation and carryover of treatment strategies. Community treatment encourages social engagement and functional use of strategies to promote generalization of new skills!

Absolutely! Early Intervention and school-based services can have different standards and may exclude children who would still benefit from speech therapy. Because Onward Speech is a private-pay service, we are able to qualify children with a thorough evaluation process and parent interview to address your concerns.  

Of course! With permission from the parent and day care, we can provide speech therapy on location and provide coaching to day care workers and teachers. 

Each client's therapy is completely individualized and will be adjusted accordingly. Session times range from 30-60 minutes and may take place once or twice per week, depending on diagnosis and availability. Each session includes pre-treatment discussion time with caregivers, 1:1 therapeutic activities, progress documentation and discussion, and review of home carryover strategies. At the end of each session, you will be emailed an invoice for your records. Superbills can be provided upon request for reimbursement by insurance, however, private payment is due to the clinician at each scheduled appointment. 

Because each person is different, each treatment plan and prognosis will also be different. Unfortunately, there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to speech therapy. A prognosis will vary based on the severity of the diagnosis and their responsiveness to treatment approaches. Family involvement is shown to lead to better and faster treatment outcomes, which is why we try to involve our families as much as possible. 

Onward Speech accepts Medicare Part B, but no other insurances at this time. Private pay allows us to customize treatment plans without the constraints of insurance so that you receive the best care possible. Superbills can be provided upon request for reimbursement by insurance if applicable, however, private payment is due to the clinician at each scheduled appointment. We accept cash, credit, HSA, and FSA payments.
